Paperless-ngx, watched.
Tillarr checks that Paperless-ngx answers with its sign-in page, so you know your documents are reachable, and opens it with a tap.
What you see
- Whether it answers, how quickly, and which address answered
- A tap to open its own web page
What's next
After 1.0: a health card.
Connect Paperless-ngx
What to have ready when you add it in Tillarr.
- Its address. Usually http://your-server:8000. Add a remote address too, and Tillarr uses it when home doesn't answer.
- Nothing else. Watching needs no key and no login, so it's free and can't change anything in Paperless-ngx.
Good to know
- Serving it under a subfolder? Include it in the address; the check asks for /accounts/login/ under it.
Behind a sign-in page
If a sign-in page guards Paperless-ngx, let /accounts/login/ through so the check can reach it. The remote access guide shows how.
How Tillarr checks Paperless-ngx
Without a key, Tillarr asks for /accounts/login/ to see that Paperless-ngx is up. Every request goes from your device straight to your server, never through us.
Questions
Can Tillarr upload documents to Paperless-ngx?
No. Tillarr watches it; Paperless-ngx's own apps handle documents.
Does it need my Paperless login?
No. Watching only checks that the sign-in page answers.
Why does Tillarr say it can't confirm Paperless-ngx?
The check expected Paperless-ngx's sign-in page and got something else: a redirect, a 404 or another app. A 404 usually means the address is missing its subfolder.
