Unraid's array, in your pocket.

FullUnraid · NASWatched first, managed later in the beta

The first beta watches Unraid by its address. During the beta, Tillarr uses Unraid's own API to show the array and its disks, parity, containers and VMs, and to start or stop them.

How Tillarr shows Unraid without a key, with example values.

What you see

  • Whether it answers, how quickly, and which address answered
  • A tap to open its own web page

What's next

During the beta: the array, disks, parity, Docker containers, VMs, notifications and the UPS. Start or stop a container or VM, each after a confirmation that names it.

Connect Unraid

What to have ready when you add it in Tillarr.

  1. Its address. Usually http://your-server. Add a remote address too, and Tillarr uses it when home doesn't answer.
  2. Nothing else. Watching needs no key and no login, so it's free and can't change anything in Unraid. When full support arrives, Tillarr asks for its key.

Good to know

  • Unraid 7.2 and later have the API built in; older releases need the Connect plugin.
  • Unraid can make an API key with the read-only Viewer role, if you only want to watch.
  • With SSL set to Strict, use your myunraid.net address for a valid certificate.

Behind a sign-in page

If a sign-in page guards Unraid, let /login through so the check can reach it. The remote access guide shows how.

How Tillarr checks Unraid

Without a key, Tillarr asks for /login to see that Unraid is up. Every request goes from your device straight to your server, never through us. Works with Unraid 7.2 and later, or older with the Connect plugin.

Questions

Can Tillarr start Docker containers on Unraid?

During the beta, yes: start or stop a container or VM, each after a confirmation that names it.

Does Unraid send notifications to Tillarr?

Unraid can't send them out, so Tillarr shows its notifications when you open the app.
