Tautulli's stats, at a glance.

FullTautulli · Plex statsWatched first, managed later in the beta

Tautulli knows everything Plex plays. The first beta watches it; during the beta Tillarr reads Tautulli for Plex's now playing and history, and at 1.0 its webhook becomes the easiest way to get Plex notifications.

What you see

  • Whether it answers, how quickly, and which address answered
  • A tap to open its own web page

What's next

During the beta: Plex's now playing, history, libraries and home stats. At 1.0, with Pro, Tautulli's webhook agent sends play and stop events as notifications, no Plex Pass needed.

Connect Tautulli

What to have ready when you add it in Tillarr.

  1. Its address. Usually http://your-server:8181. Add a remote address too, and Tillarr uses it when home doesn't answer.
  2. Nothing else. Watching needs no key and no login, so it's free and can't change anything in Tautulli. When full support arrives, Tillarr asks for its key.

Good to know

  • Turn on "Enable API" in Tautulli, then paste its API key: Tautulli 2.17 removed fetching the key by password.
  • Use Tautulli 2.17 or later for its security fixes.

Behind a sign-in page

If a sign-in page guards Tautulli, let /api through so the check can reach it. The remote access guide shows how.

How Tillarr checks Tautulli

Without a key, Tillarr asks for /api to see that Tautulli is up. Every request goes from your device straight to your server, never through us. Works with Tautulli 2.17 and 2.18.
