Approve requests in a tap.

FullSeerr · RequestsManaged in the first beta

When someone in your house asks for a film, Tillarr puts the request on your Home screen. Approve it in one tap, or decline it after a confirmation that names the title and who asked.

Request something yourself, with the seasons you want and 4K when your Seerr has it set up.

What you see

  • Requests, pending first, with poster, title, who asked, seasons, 4K and status
  • Pending requests on Home, answered right in their rows
  • Discover: trending, popular and upcoming shelves, and search
  • A health card: version, updates and requests pending

What you can do

  • Approve a request in one tap or with a swipe
  • Decline a request, after a confirmation that names the title and the requester
  • Approve several at once, or all of them
  • Request a movie or show, choosing seasons and 4K

When something goes wrong

  • An update for Seerr needs attention on its card
  • At 1.0, with Pro: a notification for each new request, with Approve and Decline right in it

Connect Seerr

What to have ready when you add it in Tillarr.

  1. Its address. Usually http://your-server:5055. Add a remote address too, and Tillarr uses it when home doesn't answer.
  2. Its API key. In Seerr: Settings → General → API Key. This key has full control of Seerr.

Good to know

  • Approving and requesting need Seerr's CSRF protection turned off.
  • Seerr can't live under a subfolder such as /seerr; give it its own subdomain.
  • Requests made with the API key are the admin's, so Seerr approves them at once.
  • Posters load through Seerr's own image proxy, so artwork never comes from a third party.

Behind a sign-in page

If Authelia, authentik or another sign-in page guards Seerr, let /api/v1 and /imageproxy through, since Tillarr uses Seerr's key rather than your password. The remote access guide shows how.

How Tillarr checks Seerr

Without a key, Tillarr asks for /api/v1/status to see that Seerr is up, and reads its version from the answer. With the key, everything else comes from Seerr's own API. Every request goes from your device straight to your server, never through us. Works with Seerr 3, Jellyseerr 2 and Overseerr 1.3x.

Questions

Does Tillarr work with Overseerr and Jellyseerr?

Yes. Seerr, Jellyseerr and Overseerr share the same API, and Tillarr handles the small differences between them.

Can I approve requests from a notification?

At 1.0, with Pro, a new request arrives as a notification with Approve and Decline. Until then, pending requests wait on Home.
