Is Deluge still running?
Tillarr checks that Deluge's web UI answers, from home or through your remote address, and opens it with a tap when you need it. No password, so watching it can't change a thing.
What you see
- Whether it answers, how quickly, and which address answered
- A tap to open its own web page
What's next
After 1.0: Deluge's torrents in the shared download queue, with pause, resume and remove.
Connect Deluge
What to have ready when you add it in Tillarr.
- Its address. Usually http://your-server:8112. Add a remote address too, and Tillarr uses it when home doesn't answer.
- Nothing else. Watching needs no key and no login, so it's free and can't change anything in Deluge.
Good to know
- Point Tillarr at deluge-web, on port 8112, not at the daemon's own port, 58846.
- Deluge's web UI keeps a single connection to its daemon, shared with your browser.
How Tillarr checks Deluge
Without a key, Tillarr asks for / to see that Deluge is up. Every request goes from your device straight to your server, never through us.
Questions
Does Tillarr manage Deluge torrents?
Not yet. The first beta watches Deluge; managing its torrents is planned after 1.0. qBittorrent is fully supported in the first beta.
Does Tillarr see Deluge's version?
No. Deluge's web page doesn't share it, so Tillarr shows whether it's up and how fast it answered.
Does Tillarr need Deluge's web password?
Not to watch it. The check reads the title of Deluge's page, which shows before you sign in.
