Subtitles you can see.
Bazarr works out of sight until a subtitle is missing on movie night. Tillarr shows its health, how many subtitles are wanted, and which providers are throttled.
On every series, episode and movie page, Tillarr lists the subtitle languages still missing and can ask Bazarr to look for them.
What you see
- A health card: version, health, wanted subtitles for episodes and movies, and throttled providers
- Missing subtitle languages on series, episode and movie pages
What you can do
- Ask Bazarr to search for an item's missing subtitles
When something goes wrong
- Bazarr's health issues and throttled providers need attention on its card
Connect Bazarr
What to have ready when you add it in Tillarr.
- Its address. Usually http://your-server:6767. Add a remote address too, and Tillarr uses it when home doesn't answer.
- Its API key. In Bazarr: Settings → General → Security → API Key. This key has full control of Bazarr.
Good to know
- Wanted counts are per missing language, so 12 wanted may be fewer than 12 episodes.
- Items are matched to Sonarr and Radarr by two IDs. A Bazarr that follows a different Sonarr shows nothing rather than the wrong subtitles.
Behind a sign-in page
If Authelia, authentik or another sign-in page guards Bazarr, let /api through, since Tillarr uses Bazarr's key rather than your password. The remote access guide shows how.
How Tillarr checks Bazarr
Without a key, Tillarr asks for /api/system/ping to see that Bazarr is up. With the key, everything else comes from Bazarr's own API. Every request goes from your device straight to your server, never through us. Works with Bazarr 1.5 and 1.6.
Questions
Does Bazarr send notifications through Tillarr?
Bazarr has no webhook of its own, so its problems show on Tillarr's card. Notifications at 1.0 come from the services that send them.
Where does Tillarr show missing subtitles?
On the series, episode and movie pages from Sonarr and Radarr, next to the files, with a button to search.
