AdGuard Home, one tap from off.
The first beta watches AdGuard Home by its address. During the beta, Tillarr shows whether it's blocking and lets you pause it, together with any Pi-hole, in one tap.
What you see
- Whether it answers, how quickly, and which address answered
- A tap to open its own web page
What's next
During the beta: blocking state and today's queries, and pause blocking for 1, 5 or 30 minutes on every AdGuard Home and Pi-hole at once.
Connect AdGuard Home
What to have ready when you add it in Tillarr.
- Its address. Usually http://your-server. Add a remote address too, and Tillarr uses it when home doesn't answer.
- Nothing else. Watching needs no key and no login, so it's free and can't change anything in AdGuard Home. When full support arrives, Tillarr asks for its key.
Good to know
- AdGuard Home only has an admin login, so the credential Tillarr uses can change everything.
- Its pages carry no brand, so watching accepts any answer from the login page.
Behind a sign-in page
If a sign-in page guards AdGuard Home, let /login.html through so the check can reach it. The remote access guide shows how.
How Tillarr checks AdGuard Home
Without a key, Tillarr asks for /login.html to see that AdGuard Home is up. Every request goes from your device straight to your server, never through us.
Questions
Can I run AdGuard Home and Pi-hole together?
Yes. Tillarr shows both, and one pause covers all of them.
Why does Tillarr warn about AdGuard Home's login?
AdGuard Home has no read-only account, so the only login can change everything.
